Luke Reid aka Flukes is a producer/songwriter from Forest Hill, South London and founder of Crazy Cousinz. Born on June 27th 1989, he showed early signs of a musical talent and was classically trained on the piano and saxophone as a child, this then led to him creating electronic music in secondary school.
Some of the big name clubs in London as he was growing up, The Neptunes and Timbaland inspired him to start producing full time, leading to him DJing most nights in London. This was great practise and experience for him, making him the artist he is today.
Over the years, Luke has built up a strong reputation across the global music world. People now commonly know Crazy Cousinz for performing at huge name festivals/events such as Glastonbury, Elrow as well as festivals in Berlin, Ibiza and Amsterdam.
In a career changing moment in 2016, Drake sampled one of Crazy Cousinz songs ‘Do You Mind’ in his ‘One Dance’ hit. This track broke records for holding the top spot for 15 consecutive weeks.
Crazy Cousinz has worked alongside some of the industry’s most respected artists : Katy B, Tinie Tempah and MNEK. Putting his remix spin on works from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Weiss and Craig David.
